Crop Protection: Management Approaches

Crop protection is an issue of increasing concern in the current agriculture to protect cultivated crops against diseases, pests as well as competing weeds and grasses. It is the science and practice of managing plant diseases, weeds and other pests that damage agricultural crops and forestry. The crops in field are exposed to many factor. The crop plants may be damaged by insects, birds, rodents, bacteria, etc. This text deals with protecting crops from weeds, insects and diseases primarily to increase yield.
